Elena Meyer, candidate in the Center for Integrative Life Sciences Ph.D. program, has been named a 2022 Commonwealth of Virginia Engineering and Science (COVES) Policy Fellow.  Once she is assigned to a Host Office, the fellowship will begin on May 25, 2022 and conclude on August 12, 2022.  Elena works in the Eckert lab, located in VCU Department of Biology. Her research interests include plant reproductive biology, the evolution and stability of mixed/selfing mating systems, and the implications of anthropogenic global change on evolutionary dynamics.
